It’s been a crazy summer…but I actually got more reading done than expected. I highly recommend Neil Postman’s “Amusing Ourselves to Death”- it’s an interesting take on how tv and media has changed how “we know.” My wife and I both loved Suzanne Collins’ “Hunger Games”. I’ll give my take on the rest of the series once I’m done with them… I’d also recommend another book I read this summer, but I think I’m a little late on the Harry Potter bandwagon! 🙂
I have much to look forward to for the rest of the year. Barnes and Noble has welcomed me into the store on August 27th for a signing, I’m speaking to the PATH homeschool community in September, I’m leading an apologetics small group at TEAM church, and I’m speaking at the National Apologetics Conference in October. That doesn’t even count the other events we have in the works!
